Brand guidelines

The Seatarra identity system

Logo, colour, typography, pillars and image direction. Everything needed to apply the brand consistently across digital, print, packaging and apparel.

01

Brand pillars

01

Connection

One relationship replaces a fragmented supplier list. Every expression of the brand should reinforce that all ingredients can be handled through one place - the interlocking mark is the visual proof of that promise.

02

Transparency

Documentation, origin and specification are never hidden. Layouts favour clear hierarchy, hairline rules and honest photography over decoration or stock gloss.

03

Innovation

Technical rigour presented with modern restraint. Generous space, precise type and calm colour signal a partner that solves formulation problems, not a commodity trader.

02

Logo system

Horizontal lockup

SEATARRA

Primary lockup. Default for site headers, documents and signage. Minimum width 120px digital, 30mm print.

Vertical lockup

SEATARRA

For square formats, stamps, apparel backs and narrow columns. Mark sits centred above the wordmark with one link-height of clearance.

Icon / mark

The interlocking chain. Used standalone only where the Seatarra name is already present. Always a single flat colour.

App icon

White mark centred on an Ocean Green tile. No wordmark, no padding changes. This is also the favicon.

Monochrome

Deep Sea on light, white on dark. Use for embroidery, engraving, single-colour print and regulatory documents.

Clear space

Reserve a margin equal to one link height on all four sides. Nothing - type, rules, image edges - enters that zone.

Do

  • Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of one link in the mark.
  • Use the white wordmark on Deep Sea, Ocean Green or dark photography.
  • Use the mark alone only where the Seatarra name already appears.
  • Reproduce the mark in a single flat brand colour.

Do not

  • Recolour, gradient, outline or add effects to the mark.
  • Stretch, rotate or rebuild the interlocking geometry.
  • Place the logo on busy imagery without a scrim or dark overlay.
  • Pair the brand with typefaces outside the Oakes Grotesk system.

Deep Sea and Pearl carry the majority of every layout. Ocean Green and Seafoam are accents only - used for buttons, links, data highlights and the live ingredient board. Sandstone separates sections without introducing a new hue. No colour outside this palette is used in brand communication.

04

Typography

Oakes Grotesk

Oakes Grotesk is the single brand typeface across headings, body and interface. Weights in use: Regular 400, Medium 500, SemiBold 600. Headings set at -0.02em tracking; eyebrows at 0.22em uppercase. Oakes Grotesk Mono carries lot codes, specifications and other data.

Where the licensed webfont is unavailable, Hanken Grotesk is the approved metric fallback. No other substitution is permitted.

Apparel & merchandise

Deep Sea green t-shirt and cap
Deep Sea garments with the mark embroidered in Seafoam at left chest, 55mm wide. Cap front carries the mark only, never the full lockup.
Site workwear in Seafoam and Deep Sea
Site and warehouse workwear: Seafoam polos with a Deep Sea mark, Deep Sea caps with a white mark. Vertical lockup is permitted centred on garment backs at 120mm.

06

Image direction

Photography is documentary, never staged marketing. Show raw ingredients as they actually arrive: seeds, powders, oils, meals, in bulk and in hand. Natural daylight, shallow depth of field, real facilities and real material texture. Colour grading stays cool and restrained so imagery sits beside the palette rather than competing with it. Avoid stock gestures, glossy studio renders, saturated food styling and people posed for the camera.
